Tontitown

Named for Henri De Tonti, a lieutenant of explorer La Salle, and settled in 1898 by Italian immigrants, the city of Tontitown is located in Washington County approximately seven miles west of Springdale. As of the 2000 census, Tontitown had a population of 942 residents.
