Alma

Alma is locaded in the county of Crawford in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Alma was founded in 1872 and goes under the nick name spinach capital of the world from 1987 when Alma canned 65% of all the spinach canned in the US, c 60 million pounds a year, all from the local area. Alma also has its very own eight foot popeye statue.
The population is approximately 4,160 and the land area is 4.8 square miles.
